Your mage and cleric should be able to counterspell the boss's legendary casts a good deal. It's ridiculously op when it comes to preventing party damage. Also- if you are having real problems with this game consider the protection shield dwarf fighter archtype they have. Resist following targets out of your defense zone. He will have to fly in to attack and then jump on him. Once the adds are dead your guys will be bloodied, but probably able to shelter together inside the Daylight to kill the bastard. This pretty much imposes disadvantage on the bad guys for the entire fightĭon't forget to turn undead too. Placed properly it will cover your entire party for the entire fight. And most importantly for this fight, light everything you can (your fighter's shield for instance) and have your cleric immediately cast and maintain Daylight for the entire battle. He heals himself by draining his own minions.
